Debbie Stanton

Based in Phoenix, AZ, Debbie has over 45 years of experience in the insurance industry, representing a host of national companies. She began her underwriting career as a Portfolio Underwriter, entertaining all lines of business, as well as Workers’ Compensation with Sentry Insurance. Debbie was a New Business Office Manager for the former Continental Insurance Company – National Brokerage Services in Phoenix, AZ, as well as a Senior Underwriter and/or Underwriting Consultant for Royal Insurance, Scottsdale Insurance Company (1991 – 1995), KEMPES, a subsidiary of Kemper, and Nautilus Insurance Company.  Debbie returned to Scottsdale Insurance, once again dedicating herself to the Public Sector, as well as transitioning into a management position with a large national Entertainment & Sports Program.  Debbie has focused her underwriting profession on the Public Sector, for over 15 years, with several large national carriers where she negotiated and executed both first-dollar and self-insured retention risk accounts and was engaged in developing some treaties. Along with new business development, Debbie’s strengths include a strong knowledge of primary pricing, as well as loss-sensitive approaches and exposure modeling tools. Debbie’s career has also included regulatory responsibilities, Rates, Rules and Forms Filings as well as Form Development and Internal Auditing. Debbie joined Allied Public Risk March 1, 2015. In her current position, Underwriting Director, she is re-kindling one previous relationship and working with new producers to establish new relationships, in which together they will build a profitable book of individual primary accounts.

Debbie attended the University of New Mexico and has also earned her CIC Designation.
